Isko Moreno is Francisco Domagoso in real life. He entered local showbiz in 1993. But prior to that, he was born in a poor family. He used to pushing cart and going house to house to collect old newspapers and used bottles. Then, he used to resell them at a local junkshop. More than that, he never denied that he used to rummage in the restaurant garbage for any left over food for his family’s meal everyday. Because of their low status of living, he only finished his secondary studies. But, his life has totally changed nowadays.
At first, he was discovered by the acting talent scout while he was in a funeral in their place in Tondo, Manila. From then on, his TV and movie career had begun. He did a regular TV program and various sensuous movies genre during 1990s. After that, he began to be recognized as a serious actor in his own right. He did a lot of movies with popular local actors and actresses.
The most admirable trait of this man is his determination to serve his countrymen. Despite the fact that he lacks proper education, he joined politics. He became Manila councilor for nine consecutive terms. And, he still preferred to stay in showbiz at the same time for his financial needs.
Later, he took a crash course in Local Legislation and Local Finance at the University of the Philippines. Afterward, he decided to pursue his degree in public administration at Pamantansan Ng Lungsod Ng Maynila; while serving his constituents. During these days, he already serves as a vice mayor of Manila district. And he never stopped from there, because this man really craves for knowledge and excellence and not for mediocrity. He is again studying; this time he is taking law in the Arellano University.
Vice Mayor Isko Moreno is a loving husband and father to his wife and children. For this reason, many Filipino people especially his co-actors have been delighted and proud of his hard work, achievements and his contributions to the Philippine entertainment industry foremost to the local government.
