Regine Angeles still manages to sell back issues of her latest magazine that features her latest sexy pictorials. You can also catch her everyday on the popular ABS-CBN daytime show “Showtime”.
Last May 24, 2011, on ABC 5, Regine will be in the pilot episode of “Iskul Bukol” -a remake of that classic TV show which features the travails fo the students of Wanbol University. Regine Angeles will play the sexy role of Barbie Que a super conservative “probinsiyana”. This is a comedy show and Regine Tolentino and all the cast is definitely going to be a group to watch. They bear however the burden of having to be as good as the original cast and at least, live up to the expectations of the audience who will inevitably make comparisons to the original sitcom.
Together with a variety of stars including Keempee de Leon, Erika Padilla, and Alwyn Uytingco, the characters will play the legacy of the best tandem of Tito, Vic and Joey but this time with a modern twist and effects that you will surely love. They can’t help but to compare with the success of the original Iskul Bukol since they have created a fashion in school scenery and a variety of teaching styles with the famous lines from Miss Tapia, Tito and Joey’s Escalera brother of bad guy image and a soft spoken simple and intelligent guy portraying Vic Sotto as Victorio Ungasis.
Back to Regine Angeles, I just hope that she would have an opportunity or a break that will show her acting ability in a dramatic role so that she would be given a chance to perform rather than pose in a magazine, because she has more to show than a sexy body.
