The Ilocano epic, Ang Bi-ag Ni Lam-ang (The Life of Lam-Ang) will soon become an animated movie, although I hope it will be in Filipino, or at least have Filipino subtitles, if they decide to really do it in their native Ilocano. Although methinks it's also cool if they do it in Ilocano!
The project is being spearheaded by Imee Marcos, who was herself, a prolific film producer in the 80s. I hope they make it into a wide-release film since I'm sure a lot of teacher will make this required viewing!
