Bamboo, the Filipino wonder grass has now become a new art medium, evolving into an environment-friendly art. It is being used as an alternative medium to wood. The scarcity of wookd or the lack of it has hampered the woodcarvers' activities as well as their livelihoods. With bamboo, they can explore more functional uses for art.
